This Thursday, House of Glory Wrestling will be in Philadelphia for its next event. The card features matches such as Zilla Fatu vs. Bully Ray for the HOG Crown Jewel Championship, Shotzi Blackheart vs. Priscilla Kelly, and Cedric Alexander vs. Amazing Red taking place. With the event only days away, an adjustment has been made to the match card regarding the upcoming Charles Mason title defense.
Charles Mason Has Title Defense Changed
In a surprise announcement on Sunday evening, HOG's social media accounts announced that Charles Mason, the current Hog World Champion, and Man like Dereiss, the current PROGRESS World Champion, would clash in a Winner-Take-All match with both of their titles on the line. The announcement was accompanied by a video of Dereiss challenging Mason.
This match's announcement creates a bit of uncertainty about Thursday's show. Originally, Dereiss was set to face "Infamous" Daron Richardson for his HOG Cruiserweight Championship. Mason was also scheduled to defend his World title against Philly native and WWE ID prospect, Marcus Mathers. This weekend, Daron Richardson uploaded a Dereiss diss track to Soundcloud titled "SillyBruvs," mocking Dereiss and UK drill music. This could be a sign that the Cruiserweight title match is still taking place. If both matches are canceled, I can see Richardson and Mathers facing each other instead, possibly in a non-title match.
As someone attending Thursday's show, I'll be keeping a close eye on the match card for anymore sudden changes.
