Dropkickd Roundup: Random Matches I've Watched This Week
Longtime since I've posted here but I just wanted to share some of my recent Dropkickd ratings.
Mike Santana vs Mustafa Ali (TNA Rebellion 2025)
This match is insane. Santana gives an all star babyface performance while Ali takes some gnarly bumps. A must watch if you’re a fan of either guy. Also Jeff Tremaine was in the front row for this and was just as locked in as I was. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
X-Division Title: Leon Slater vs Je'von Evans (TNA Bound For Glory 2025)
A very good match that’s a showcase of two of wrestling’s best young black talents that is unfortunately ruined by a terrible, overbooked ending. You can’t tell me WWE themselves didn’t book this one. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
X-Division Title: Speedball Mike Bailey vs Mustafa Ali (TNA Slammiversary 2024)
Wow. That’s all I could say when I finished this match. An excellent showcase of the two best high flyers in all of wrestling. Shame that the ending is kinda stupid but it doesn’t ruin things too much. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Hardys vs MNM (ECW December to Dismember 2006)
Will never get over the fact that the best match on ECW’s only WWE PPV was the opening match that didn’t feature anyone on the ECW roster. This is also the longest 22 minute match I think I’ve ever watched. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Title Winner Take All: Seth Rollins vs John Cena (WWE Summerslam 2015)
What happens when you mix Seth Rollins at his peak with 2015 John Cena? You get an instant classic ruined by one of the worst finishes in wrestling history. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
